- Filing trade mark application – Simply in UAE, a trade-mark is initially registered by filing an application with the Ministry of Economy along with the necessary charges are applicable for each trade-name applied. - Publication – In the positive scenario when the application accepted by the trademark office through the Trademark Registry, then it is published in the Trademark bulletin. - Opposition – The case of publishing in the journal, the objection part begins over here. - Registration –Completing the opposition period the Registrar of trademark will issue a Certificate of registration.
- Renewal – By the name itself it can be understood that after getting registered Trademark it validity is for Ten years from the date of application. You can renew it for another 10 years. Renewal can be done during the 10th year. A grace period of three months will be allowed for late renewal with a fine.
